What we do

CAMZYN studio partners with beauty artists to co-create their social media-driven website and appointment booking setups. The studio empowers artists to update and maintain their own personalized website by harnessing user-friendly website-builders and tools that are teachable, easy to handoff, and great for collaboration.

Our Partnered Process

  • Getting started is easy. Share a bit about you and your business via the the inquiry form on this page and we’ll get back to you to confirm whether or not we might be a good fit.

  • We chat for about 30 minutes to get to know one another and decide if we would like to start a project together.

    If the answer is yes, we square away next steps and details including your initial requirements, content handover, and accessing any existing websites, platforms, and/or domains.

  • Once we’ve gathered existing content from you, we spend an hour looking at references together and finalizing business and technical requirements either on a call or in-person if we’re in the same area.

  • We send you a first draft look and feel based on the direction we discussed in the previous phase. You send us notes and we make some adjustments and round up any additional content that might be needed before our next call/meetup.

  • We spend an hour together refining the revised first draft. We’re in the website builder together making changes, trying new things, and practicing how to enter and update content.

  • Once we’re finished refining and everything is linked up and ready to go, we put the new website and booking setup live on a custom domain (this part can take up to 72 hours depending on the domain provider/setup). Once it’s published you can start using it right away!

  • Our goal is to help you feel confident making updates to your website as your business changes and grows with you. This means updating services and pricing, images, copy, and the like.

    However, we understand that not everyone wants to be a web designer/developer or spend hours trying to figure something out in any platform. That’s why we’re happy to answer questions when you’re unsure or curious about trying something new.

    When additional work or big changes are requested, we’ll let you know when it needs to be scoped as a new project or agreement. But until then, ask away! At the very least, we can’t wait to keep up with you and your business for the inspiration and fun!

  • Yes! Our goal is to create a website and booking experience you feel good about and can rely on, including updating services, pricing, images, copy, and the like.

    Since our process is partnered, you’ll learn how to do most of this along the way. We harness user-friendly website builders and booking apps/platforms with this in mind.

    While we do not recommend making changes to the layout after the project is complete, we welcome questions and we’re happy to help you think through new things. We will let you know when additional work needs to be scoped for a new project. But until then, ask away!

  • We typically work with artists who already have a social media presence and robust content available including some professional photography options. If you’re just getting started we’re happy to refer your to a photographer who can help us create the content we need to support the website vision!

  • Please budget $450 for the deposit that will be requested upon finalizing a work agreement. This amount goes toward the total project amount.

    Please budget an additional $450 to be paid prior to handoff and publishing the final site. This time between initial payment and final payment typically ranges anywhere from 2-6 weeks (depending on your availability for collaborative sessions).

    Notes: Pyment for service does not cover the cost of platforms and subscriptions needed to maintain the website, booking platforms, photography, or additional brand collateral.

  • Your costs for keeping the website live once it’s done will include a Squarespace subscription (the Personal or Business Plans works for most of our partners – see pricing here), domain renewal (typically $12/year), and any additional booking platform subscription that you wish to connect (we recommend Vagaro – see pricing here).


    We are not in anyway affiliated with the platforms we recommend, we simply pick the ones we believe offer the best user experience for our partners.

  • We build in Squarespace. If you have an existing website on another platform that needs to be refreshed or updated, we help you migrate it to Squarespace. Trust us, you’ll like it better.

    We recommend Vagaro for booking software if you need to book clients and/or collect payment from guests independent of a salon.

    If you currently work at a salon and/or have another booking setup you prefer not to move away from, we connect it to your new website and make sure it’s easily accessible for your clients.

  • While we do not offer SEO as a service, we take search into account when it comes to copy, information architecture, and best practices.

    If you are interested in dedicated SEO work for your website we can refer you to someone who can provide that service separately but collaboratively.
